Winter in the Biesbosch
Winter has arrived again, the period when the flora and fauna in De Biesbosch National Park enjoy their rest. Although it may not be the first thing you think of, it is also a wonderful time to visit the National Park. De Biesbosch is a perfect base for waterbirds to hibernate. From November onwards, more and more waterbirds come to the Biesbosch. They even come all the way here from Western Europe.
